Hopefully someone may know something on this. A few years ago I came across a website that listed what people were paying for specific vehicles. I used those numbers in getting a killer deal on an 02 Accord. Need to start looking at getting another one or a Pilot, this is for the wife. Anyway, those prices, in some places, were actually lower than the invoice price. Does any know what I'm talking about or have any ideas where to look? I've scanned over edmunds, kelly and NADA, but they just give you msrp's and invoice prices. But the funny thing is, the exact car had 3 different invoice and msrp prices on all three websites. Something screwy about that. I want to be one of those "well armed consumers that ain't taking no bull from no dealer" types. Hey, it's my money!!!

TMV is worthless, the figure is way too high. Most people pay $1-$2000 less than TMV, at least with the 3rd Gen TLs.
Remember that the invoice is also quite deceiving, since dealers often have the holdback and pay MUCH less for the cars than the "listed" invoice.

As a general rule, Camrys sell for $1000-$1500 below "listed" invoice EASILY, including any rebates.
The best trick to getting a good price is to do one of two things. 1) Check your local newspaper ads or 2) E-Mail the Internet Sales Manager (OK, be careful here...try the volume dealers first, they have the largest inventory and are more likely to deal)
