Off of a co workers 2018 Kia Forte for about 3,122 miles. He supplied Advanced Syn Valvoline 5w30 and Super Tech filter. Appears Fram made also.

Looks like a Champ, Fram , Ecore hybrid.

Looks pretty good. I always wondered if there was a real world difference in the e core and steel core with holes when it comes to flow.

I mean; it seriously is a clone of the ST 9688 I cut open while back

Bypass valve and dome end leaf spring looks just like Fram's. But same design is also used in some Champ Labs built filters.

Champ Labs made all the way. Compare to current Super Tech ST9688 linked. Excepting can color likely identical. Widened to outer edge sealing gasket, ecore centertube, 2 offset opposed ribs on compression spring and coil spring bypass combo, letter Y on baseplate.

Champ makes the Valvoline branded filters, last year I took a cartridge out of an Ecotec that was Valvoline branded and it was clearly a Champ made cartridge, it also twisted to hell like you'd expect a Champ ecotec cartridge to do.
