honestly its not that big of a thing if its a group III or IV. i was just curious. i might give it a shot in my 04 neon before the switch to amsoil to see how the neon likes an xw40 oil. maybe it will convince me to use the amsoil 5w40 instead of a 5w30

I still prefer Gr.IV over Gr.III for cold starts in winter.
 
fortunately we dont have too cold of cold starts in the winter. sometimes it gets pretty cold, but not too bad. its mainly the wind.
