Hi folks, New UOA on my watercooled 911 997 3.8 Porsche year 2005. Valvoline Synpower 5W-40 OCI: 3600 miles and 5 months of winter storage without starting the engine at all. Oil filter: Royal Purple 10-2835 and LN engineering spin-on oil filter adapter and Low.temp. thermostat. Heavy track day use and street driving Total miles on the engine: 122500 miles Unopened engine Sample date: 12/11 2024 Last result in the left column (sorry about picture quality) Only a season car used between May and September.

Why do they not include the 100c viscosity? Looks real good from everything else. Thanks for sharing.

I currently have this oil in my old Mercedes. The seals hate it. I'm leaking and burning oil, smoke out the tailpipe, etc. Tons of blow by. This hasn't happened with the other A40, 229.5 oils I've used. I'm adding up to a quart a month or so in a car i don't drive that often...

I chose it because it has the best uoa results of all 5w40's based on my research...
