Valvoline said "No moly in Maxlife".

Well apparently this may be correct for Maxlife. I know these links are old/er but they are showing low to no moly.

Wrong, wrong. Source: how about the PQIA https://pqia.org/valvoline-high-mileage-maxlife-sae-10w-30-synthetic-blend-motor-oil/

even SP synblend max life has moly.

Yeah exactly. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

I was thinking of that pqia Valvoline Maxlife 10w30 result myself.

Nicely done! My admiration for your digital skills!

Seems odd to me that folks are still coming out with new products that are not 'full synthetic'.

So let me get this straight - valvoline puts moly in the normal SP Maxlife at very similar levels as the SN+, but doesn’t put any in their premium products?

Yeah... I’ll wait for the SP Test from PQIA

Ravenol doesn't use Moly in their recent formulations. There are alternatives to moly (Tungsten being one of them) but they are typically more expensive.
