I mailed the sample to Oil Analyzers Indianapolis on Monday and received the report by Saturday. On my submission form I did not include product brand or information. Only product viscosity grade.

Good amount of Boron as well. But, yes, there is something the VOA doesn't see that is a magic cleaning elixir.

Yeah there is a synergy to the additives/base oil blend. It was mentioned in the LSJ video how they use a very specific treat rate.

Ahh. Well I guess that’s the reason I was looking for to not mix VRP with EC.

I used HPL EC30 with VRP 5W30 in my first OCI with the car - no exploded engine or black hole formed.

I used it for the first time yesterday in a Jeep Cherokee 3.2. Reminded me of the first time I used Maxlife ATF… smells weird

Agreed. With I’m sure a lot of in progress VRP OCIs, this will come in handy for a baseline comparison for those using OAI.

I'm actually running the oil in my 2013 F-50 5.0 right now. So UOA to come. I'll probably do a 5,000 mile OCI. Truck has 159K miles.

A2525 cannot be 25th week because today is May 7, 25, which is only the 19th week of the year. Nor would it be 2/5/25. If that were the case, D0225 wouldn’t make sense.

I hope they didn’t water it down. I’m still trying out its cleaning abilities in my customers cars.
