A review written by chatgpt (I asked it to write a review and this is what it came back with). I'm not suggesting this is a bad oil, the reviews are just a little suspicious that's all.
This is exactly why I NEVER rely on online reviews. I find websites of known, real places (whathifi, Tom’s Hardware, etc) and read their articles. Amazon may as well remove their reviews section as far as products are concerned, as far as I care.

Fake stuff everywhere. And it’s only getting worse.

This thread is well beyond running its course. The complains have been covered about 3-5x each.
It was already shut down once. And no new information is available.

Bingo.

Let this be a lesson that marketing is just that. Marketing teams select product names like this to entice and stir an emotional response. This oil may as well be called "Valvoline Synthetic Formulation #078" or something like that, but that doesn't drive a 22 page hype train, does it?
I don't think there is any lesson yet.

Sad truth is every new product, whether ground breaking or substandard, is going to be accompanied by marketing which at this point few people believe. The internet abused world we live in.

Will be interesting to see what this oil actually does in the hands of some Bitogers.

yup I couldn't agree more with you! It pays to be cynical and a skeptic..

It's too premature to know for sure. There is a possibility that the product actually does what it says. Imagine that. Or it is a marketing effort by Valvoline.
I have never seen an additive package designed for cleaning. It's not what they're supposed to do. The base oil or the co-base composition can have improved solvency and do it that way. Looking at how conventional and API copliant the VOA shows the addpack to be, I'd say that: Valvoline uses a dash of esters for seal swelling and solvency, and a little bit of AN to accomplish some cleaning.

Honestly, I think you'd have a better chance to clean an old engine with Mobil 1 EP High Mileage, than with this stuff. I've seem M1 EP 5W-30 HM work really well in some Hyundai engines. The stuff is good.

That patent basically validates how/why oils like HPL/Amsoil SS can clean up piston deposits. As it said in the patent, the goal with most oils is usually preventing deposits. Few if any current off the shelf oils can probably clean up rings, which may be why Valvoline is saying no other oil can do that. Cost restricts those more high-end base oils I'm guessing. The R&P maybe uses something new or not visible on a VOA. Probably cheaper than their PBR oil. I'm just guessing i have absolutely no idea.

Here is the virgin report. Doesn't look too special to me?
Oxidation is low, so not a lot of esters.

I asked for both TBN & TAN????

I'll call them tomorrow and see if they will come up with it.

Okay, here it is (below) with both with both TBN & TAN

Not much to see here. TBN of 6.33 :(
or
does it have Top secret ingredients that UOA doesn't detect :)
but
Notice the 1.3% Fuel Dilution # ????????? That wasn't there before?????

Interesting

The Fuel shows up due to how their set-up for testing it. It shows up as fuel in new oil on their testing rig their set-up for used oil. TBN of 6.33 is exceptable these days & not out of the ordinary. This is not positioned as an extended mileage oil anyways. Thanks for getting this done!
