Anyone notice that valvoline has taken off the pds info on thier site? Used to be right their when you would look at a particular oil. Now it just has; which oil for my car, and msds. I wonder whats up with this?

Kind of a bummer though, I like being able to obtain the information. After all....I`m a bitoger!

They might be in the process of updating it.

Check if the Ashland parent site has a PDS/MSDS library.

Supposed to be the exact formula (additive package) as the white bottle. Only difference is it has 50% recycled oil used. But it`s not just recycled, its totally refined again like crude oil.

Please do a search, there have been many threads on it in the past year. You'll find out everything you wanted to know and then everyones opinion on the facts too!

Yes. I've noticed that over the past number of years with greater access to information via the internet that many companies have either removed technical data from their general consumer sites or placed it where it is available but much harder to find.

VERY SHADY STUFF!

Thumbs down to Ashland...because if they were updating the information they should have put a notice up for that. My guess is that they have just removed it.

I dont think they are. If that were the case, they probably would not have responded back to me at all.

I just noticed that Petro-Canada's data sheets are all down right now, too. You know that something's wrong when SOPUS is getting their sheets in order and two other majors are down.

We'll never know if the formula actually changed, or if they did more testing and updated the results...but every time they revised the pds since sn/gf5 came out, numbers have changed.
