Valvoline oils: which do you like or prefer?

I’ve always liked Valvoline but like most have run a lot of oils. Lately I’ve been steady on Valvoline it’s all the Mustang has had since new, 5 straight OCIs worth the last two of which have been EP HM.

Going to hit 25k at next OCI and plan to do a “maintenance” run of VRP.

Only Vaseline Extended Protection HM 5W30 3.3HTHS
OR
Restore and Protect 3.2HTHS

Was told the HM EP has a better seal condition system and slightly better shear rating. Once you use the restore, I think you could go back to the high mileage and then occasionally use the restore.
Vaseline Oil? Can I put it on my lips to prevent cracking in the winter?

Can’t wait to see it on the shelves here in Canada.

I'm glad it's working for some of you. On my 3rd run of R&P in my sons Santa Fe. Zero change so far. Still goes through 1/2-3/4 quart per OCI. Which isn't too bad, but R&P hasn't seemed to touch it. Maybe 4th oil change will be the charm.
What is your OCI for the Santa Fe?

4,000 miles currently. My son is pretty good about coming to me when the dashboard starts yelling at him when it's time. I think he put about 4,300 miles on it last time.

He's not real into car maintenance or anything mechanical. He's a computer guy. 21 years old. He did do the rear brakes with me and last oil change. He then said he would rather pay someone to do it....not his thing.

85k of nothing back maxlife synthetic, 0w20 and the motor is spotless. Cant argue with the results or the $2 per qt I paid. I probably won’t use it again since I’ve stocked up on HPS, torco and HPL but wouldn’t hesitate to use any Valvoline if I found myself in the oil aisle. I used SN plus which was very quiet in the valve train and stayed clean from start to finish.

Until R&P came out the only other Valvoline oil I have ever used was Maxlife and that was way back in 2001 when I first found the original version of BITOG. So I have never really been a fan of many of their oils. They aren’t as readily available up here either.
I joined BITOG a couple of years after you and back then Valvoline was panned for it's lack of additives.
Later versions were criticized for using sodium in high amounts. For those reasons it was never high on my list of desirable oils to run. These recent Valvoline products really do seem innovative and desirable even though they aren't marketed as long OCI capable oils despite being full synthetic. If I had a vehicle that was prone to ring sticking or an oil burner I wouldn't hesitate to give R&P a try.
