HTHS of 5w30 oils that interest me.
Valvoline Restore and Protect 3.24
Valvoline Extended Protection Full Synthetic 3.2
Valvoline Extended Protection High Mileage Full Synthetic 3.3
Quaker State Full Synthetic ?
Quaker State High Mileage Full Synthetic ?
Havoline Lifelong ?
Supertech High Mileage Full Synthetic ?

The Valvoline HTHS numbers above are copied from another member's earlier HTHS thread. He said he got the numbers from Valvoline tech supp. I assume they're correct?

If you’re looking for a hths > 3.5 then acea a3/b4 is where to look. Between most of these api/dexos oils you’re looking at, there’s likely not going to be much difference

I'm not looking for any specific HTHS. I'm very happy with 3.3. I'm happy with 3.2. I'm OK with 3.1. I'd probably be OK with 3. I don't have any flat tappet cams and my vehicles full op temp varies from 195-215F. Hottest day ever for one of my engines was 230F, but that's rare.

I asked about those oils HTHS because I'm curious how those oils compare to each other for HTHS.

SOPUS doesn't disclose that info but someone had mentioned in another thread it is probably 3.0
