I drained mine as soon as I saw it posted.

How about that....

So now we know that the member that had his Chevy trans fail after a full change over was likely correct that the Valvoline MaxLife did cause a failure.

Did anyone actually read the letter from Valvoline? It explains the reason why the viscosity was low and PQI actually lifted their advisory after the letter was sent. Just follow the first link posted above and click on the Maxlife bottle.

Really? I've never seen you post you use ML, only ATF I've ever seen you advocate was Amsoil Universal ATF. Not saying anything wrong with Amsoil ATF, just sayin.

The letter was dated a year ago and the advisory came this year. So the letter that was a year old is in response to the advisory that just came out?

Yes, proof reading obviously not a requirement. PQIA satisfied, all that matters here.

I was being facetious. I only use Amsoil. And its too darn cold and slippery to do anything outside.

I do use Valvoline grease however.

Its nice to know people remember what I use in my transmission.

Secretary must have called in sick that day.

Yall really need to read the website closer. The date of purchase is probably incorrect stated at the top of the page as the table right beneath says all samples were done in Feb 2012. That would correspond to the date on the letter sent to PQI.
