I have to say, this stuff is awesome. Before the switch, this car burned about a quart per 1,000 miles. Now, after 500 miles, it hasn't burned any at all. It runs very smoothly. And with the exception of some tappet noise, with the A/C off it is very very quiet. When sitting with the windows down and A/C off, you can't even hear it running. Power has improved too. This is some good oil! Valvoline has earned my loyalty, and I will fully endorse and recommend Maxlife in the future.

Valvoline MaxLife 10W-40 is rather popular here in my little corner of the world with the pickup truck and SUV folk. It is used from the first oil change by those who do not use full synthetic Mobil 1 10W-40 HM. Most folk here actually work their pickup trucks and then play hard with the same trucks. MaxLife is a very hearty oil.

I bought an 87 Camry when I was 16, and it had 262,000 miles on the clock. It had some oil consumption issues (appx 1.5-2 qts between oil changes) so I switched to Maxlife 10w40 and it reduced consumption to less than half a quart between changes. The poor little guy was still running strong with 340,000 miles on it when some drunk idiot hit it with his truck.
