Valvoline MaxLife ATF for Dexron HP?

Hello, I cannot find anything to say that Valvoline Maxlife Full Synthetic ATF is suitable in applications where Dexron HP is used.

I suspect it could be as when I go to Amsoil website they tell you to use their Signature Series ATF.

From everything I have read is that the big difference between DEX VI and HP is that VI is semi-synthetic and HP is full synthetic.

Can anyone elaborate?

From what I know you can use it in things not spec'd for HP … but not the other way around … much as I like MaxLife … I'd think twice … HP is known to solve problems … FM chemistry and all …
