You Forgot MaxLife Plus, clearly the next step is a Full Synthetic, called Enhanced Maxlife+, then Ultra Maxlife+.
Sounds like someone at Valvoline attended the Microsoft School of Product Naming

Afterlife sounds like what you'd call Maxlife that's already been used that you're dumping into to an oil burner like how Mobil 1 has Mobil 2.

If ExxonMobil can market too many oils, so can Valvoline.
They all do it, SOPUS has tried many times to claim extra space on the shelf, the short lived Rotella Gas truck and Quaker State Full Synthetic High Mileage barely made it to the shelves at most Walmart's before being thrown in the clearance bin, and now they have an extended version of Quakerstate Full Synthetic coming out.
Funny you mentioned the Quaker State Full Synthetic High Mileage, was at Walmart today and it is now stocked on the shelves in 5qt jugs. My local store never carried it before this week only the all mileage blends. And spots were tagged and ready for the ultimate protection stuff too but none in stock yet.
Man, someone at the marketing departments of Fram and Valvoline is taking a page from the paint playbook now.
