MST is Mid-SAPS and like LX meets most important spec. there, MB 229.51.
That engine is developed in time when 5W40 oils were a norm in Europe. 0W30 and 5W30 were outliers. The engine is design around heavier oils. Whether PP LX work? Absolutely.
