Same here. Bought the last 6 qts of Halvoline 10w30 (no 5w30 on the shelf). No Trop Artic in sight. BTW, this stor also had no GC, only North American 0w30. I have yet to see any GC anywhere in my area.

Looks like the deal is over at the AZ stores in the Nashville area. I did finally end up with about 50 quarts of oil between Havoline and Valvoline. No GC around I could find. Wife is still rolling eyes over the $100.00 I have spent. Actually more cause I bought 4 of the 5 qt jugs of M1 at Walmart on sale for $17.88 Guess I am now an addict. Officially

Got out to another AutoZone (5 now, but only 1 with sale) and was told their Maxlife Synthetic would not be on sale for another week or so. Have to keep an eye on all these stores. When the sale happens, I could score 50 to 100 quarts. But I will be happy to get even 18 more as I don't know what I would do with any more than that (except arrange them on my shelves and stare at it every now and then

When choosing between the Havoline synthetic and Maxlife synthetic for the same $2/qt price, I wondered about this too. The Maxlife synthetic is a more expensive oil (at regular retail) and states on the bottle that it is safe for new and rebuilt engines, and does not void new car warranties. But I ultimately went with the Havoline synthetic.

Here in Jacksonville at two different AZs I found Havoline synthetic 5w30 and 10w30 for $2. It's SL formula, though, if it matters to anybody. Also, I went ahead and picked up some more GC since I was there and to my surprise it was $3.99. Five quarts of Havoline Synthetic and six quarts of GC for $36.
