I want to increase the oil capacity of my engine by using the biggest compatible filter for it.

Lately I have been using the ST7317

It's an Eagle Talon 2.0 DOHC Turbo.

Any ideas?

Go to SEARS that has quick lube/tire shop and buy the Purolator 24458 before they are all gone. This filter has been discontined.

The L-24458 is twice the size of the ST-7317 and will fit your car. The Wix 1347 *might* fit your car, but it may leak due to the bigger gasket.

But don't forget about the diameter of the oil filter.

On some cars you dont have the space, your only choice is to put a longer (Wix 1347) oil filter.

How about the Purolator L20073? The L14610 in this photo is the equivalent to the 7317. The L20073 is the equivalent to the Wix 51347.
