As always with owning a home, always something to improve. I got some new siding installed, and there was a casualty...

I took this opportunity to pour a concrete slab for it, instead of the at-grade stupid foam pad.

Maxing out the image count, so will post in the next!

What do the 2 mini splits go to that the main central AC doesn’t cool?

Nice work on the pad. Mine are made of some plastic that is holding up for the moment at 10 years old.

How did you move the unit off the pad and back on the concrete pad?

Got a local HVAC company to come out, I was unsure if I could cut the lines, or if I would make anything worse. They cut them and put a kink in them on the condenser side and helped me move it out the way, and then of course came back and helped me move it on and then installed the new lineset and got it charged back up

You need to spread some stone in that area to finish off the job. Many benefits

For sure! I really want to do that, next I need to get some drain work done which will require some tunnelling, so I'll do it after that

The main AC cools the entire house, nowhere it doesn't cool. The single Fujitsu 9K BTU goes to my living room, and the Dual head Daikin 18K BTU (2 x 9K) goes to my bedroom and my "office" room where we have our computers

90% of the time, we don't use our main AC. So we have a lot of redundancy which is nice. Either could fail and we would not be impacted

Its also nice being able to cool the bedroom to 67 at night, without cooling the entire house which is pointless, same for when I'm at home all day (I work from home) I can just cool the office to whatever temp I want

If we are cooking and cleaning up the whole house etc, we may throw the main AC for a little

You obviously know a little bit about concrete work. Good job.

I don't! Well, at least I think I don't

You could make trenches for drainage and just fill it with the stone, two birds one stone.

Oh, I mean actual sewer drains. I already have great drainage throughout, all downspouts go do 4 inch solid SDR35 out to the street

The two 6 inch circular drains in the image also go into these pipes
