Update on Dad

Just got off the phone with my sister. Dad is back in the hospital with a 103 temp. So far he has had two surgeries on his foot and was finally able to come home on Christmas Eve after two months in hospital and rehab. They had installed a "wound vac" on his foot which came off last night. Had a foul odor to it. Sometime during the night his temp started climbing and now it looks like he might loose more of his foot or maybe even lower leg, (below knee). Please continue to keep my Dad, my Mom and my family in your prayers. Dad is 94, will be 95 in April if he makes it.

Make sure that you hound them to check and maintain his VitC levels. If he's fighting a bad infection, that's usually the first casualty.
