UOA's using Pure1 air filter??

Does anybody know of used oil analysis that exist where a PureOne oiled paper air filter was used?

I have one installed in my Escape, with another one in the garage that I bought at AAP on sale. I guess I'm just looking for some sort of data to indicate that the Pure1 air filter works at least as well as a standard (dry) paper filter. Or maybe because this air filter hasn't been on the market too long there aren't many used oil analysis yet??

Probably would depend on how the housing seals the filter and if the rest of the intake is sealed.

When I was doing a lot of UOA I did compare the paper OEM filters to Amsoil oiled ones (before their new filter line came out) The paper won hands down in the UOA (much better results) and they were not messy to reoil and, in the case of the Amsoil filters, they actually fell apart after a couple of years so now all I use is paper NAPA Gold or OEM in fact!

That's not a fair comparison. The amsoil oiled filters were foam, not oiled paper.

Exactly.... apples and oranges.

The PureOne air filter has not been on the market that long, so maybe there hasn't been enough time to determine it's UOA track record.

Here's a used oil analysis from my '00 Grand Am GT from a little while ago. I used a PureOne air filter was used from 100K - 115K.
