Hi fellow oil people Here is a used oil analysis on my FRanken brew
All 5w30 with 3 OZ of Lubromoly MOS2 thrown in
remarks from blackstone MICHAEL: Your engine doesn't seem to care one way or the other what oil you're using. Metals have been
remarkably steady through this batch of samples, and that comes despite using different oil brands. That
just goes to show you that low wear is more a function of the engine itself and the operation it sees than the
oil that's in use. No contamination was present here, and the viscosity read as expected. No moisture or
coolant was found, and insolubles are still in check at 0.3%. No problems found at 105,256 total km. Great engine!
