Never had it checked before. I was a bit worried because I have five factors:

1) I handle a lot of stuff from China. They use lead in many things, from plastics to coatings.
2) I do a lot of soldering with Sn/Pb solder.
3) I'm an active indoor and outdoor shooter.
4) Used oil not spilled in my crotch area.
5) Old enough, grew up with leaded gas and roadside dust as a kid.

Results 1.5 ug/dL. Pretty much background level. Adults over 10 is not good. (Children 5 ug/dL).

Good to go. I need to start reloading!

I wonder what were the average person's blood lead levels back when leaded gas was used? Maybe it wasn't very high then either.

I think you can get Lead in blood from touching non OEM oil additives before eating Big Mac, the proof is in brain damage evidence in the oil additives section. This is why Amsoil man got low Pb, his company say don't use oil additives!!

PS. Always wash hands before eating, due Lead in bearings and some other parts, or even in oil if you are having bad day at office.

Is this the same blood test for metal on metal hips? What did you ask your doctor to do/or what blood test was ordered?

Those that have metal on metal hips are being asked (by the corporate lawyers)not the hip manufactures, to test the blood/metal levels for hip implant issues.

You're fine.

It'll be good later when they won't need to draw tubes of blood anymore...

Nice UBA. Things are wearing normally. Your body seems to have the BCI down to a good replacement level, and your filters are working well. Try living for another 55-65 years

I was there for my every 30-40 year check up. I had to fast for the cholesterol part. I just asked to have my blood lead level checked and he mentioned a heavy metal panel and mumbled about making sure he wrote it so it's covered. The stupid part is I had to go back the following Friday and give another vial because when it went to the lab, the lab wondered what the extra vial of blood was for, thought the doc's office just sent it for whatever and threw it away. They didn't even read the form!

The nurse showed me how the form was clearly marked. And after all that I STILL have not received my UOA in writing. Need to call on Monday.

Last I checked my hips are still natural.

Good to know that the bike light you sold me won't kill me.

Does a regular blood test check for lead or do you need to request some special test for that?

You have to ask. I was thinking they check for other heavy metals, but still no report yet, just a verbal.

Too much cilantro and everything starts tasting like soap, no wonder it cleans sludge so well.

I thought I had high wear metals in blood when I set off new airport metal detector, operator says my BCI needs to be reduced. 8 pints of good red stuff expensive!
My doctor says I must give up food additives and solvents like alcohol, as they were not approved by OEM. I ask Mamma and Papa for owners manual tomorrow to check on ape specs.

You're lucky you can eat the stuff. Maybe you have that enzyme in your saliva that makes it taste good? Those of us who taste raw cilantro know that the taste is more like mostly evil with a bit of ultrapain mixed in as a diluent.
