UOA: Choose the car.

I got my first test container dealy from Blackstone today.

I can test the Havoline/Chevron 10w-30 thats in my Jeep 4.0 and has about 2600 miles on it or I can do the 20w-50 QS thats in my International pickup. But the oil in the truck only has 500 miles on it.

Personally I would like to do the truck since it lives in a very harsh environment as far as dust is concerned. I don't drive it much. Can I do a UOA with only 500 miles? Should I drive it more before I sample it?

Yes, put some more miles on it. Since it is "your choice" at least put some miles on it to really find out how it does.
