They would do well to have "What is SAF" propaganda at the gate, on their website, etc. It's horrendous marketing to have a tagline like this but no immediate way of explaining what this new thing is and means to you.

It’s been on the website, in press releases, and in the pages of Aviation Press like AW&ST for years.
SAF is not new.
United’s commitment to it and carbon reduction is not new.
They have already done what you suggest. I just went to the site, and there is a whole section devoted to United’s green initiatives. here are a couple of screenshots, for example:
If you’re the kind of person that pays attention to the livery of the airplane, then, you’ve seen this campaign before.
When was the last time you flew on United Airlines?
The future is SAF. No idea what that used to mean. Nor does it make me want to google it, not worth my time. Yesterday I was at Costco and saw olive oil. I believe it was Spanish, and probably quite good. The intriguing thing was the packaging. It came in a black box with a magnetic catch. Inside was basically a wine bottle filled with olive oil. All done very nicely. Make a normal product seem upscale. Marketing genius, because I really wanted to try it, but I’m set for olive oil for a while. Next time I probably will try it.

I think it makes as much sense as the old BASF commercials where they were trying to show all the things that they made, wasn't necessarily a brand name on a consumer product. I seem to recall one of the few consumer products they ever had were magnetic recording tapes/disks. Maybe today some fuel additives.
But yeah. They should spell it out what SAF means.
