I never said they are "okay to be broken" - that's something you made up in your head by trying to read between the lines. I added info to post #37 ... go read it. I'm saying they will not break off in the first place for reasons state. And say IF they broke off the chances are super remote that they would get past the filter.My post is relevant to this discussion. Broken metal tabs, that you said are okay to be broken, could tear the media. They would then end up in the oil pan. Of course you don't want me to say that b/c it goes against what you say.
