Union 76 Synthetic Blend @ Big Lots!>?

Anyone run this?

Big Lots! just got a big shipment with the 5-30 @ $1.90 a qt.

Just curious... I haven't seen Union 76 oil, at any of the major players (Pep Boys, O'Reilly, AZ, Advance, NAPA) here in Atlanta.

It's the same as Kendall and TropArtic. That's even the same price that they sell the Kendall for at my Big Lots. Get TropArtic cheaper at Walmart...for now.

Yes, I have ran it....good stuff and I have seen it as low as a buckfifty.

I would run it, but limit it to 5K with out doing a used oil analysis.

I have pretty much switched to PAO/Esters group 4/5 with a 10K OCI. My next plan is to run the Amsoil EaO oil filter for 2 OCI's for a total of 20K on the filter.

I saw 10w30 here today. I'm refusing to pay $2 a qt for oil till I have no choice.

I have it in my car right now. I'm running a 4K OCI. I picked it up at my local auto parts store for $1.59 a quart. It has been on sale for $.99 in the last couple of months also. I been using Mobil 1 5w30 in the last three OCI's. I swear the engine is quieter with the 76 in it. I have a 1.8L Sentra.

I'm one of those goofy "oil nuts."

I liked the bottle... Looked kinda "old-school" & different.

If I ran it for 3K, I doubt my engine would rebel, if it detected that it wasn't being fed Royal Purple

TropArctic is $1.66? at the WM by me so I just got 3 SLOB's for $1 each.
I figure I'd try some out in the Cherokee and 510.

The auto section was at Biglots was tiny. Only an endpeice of one aisle.
Had Pennzoil, Quaker State, and 76 xW30, about a dozen each, and a few other things that were on clearance.

geez, is this what oil prices have done to us? excited for $1.90/qt? ah, the good days of free after rebate and 0.59 cent/qt dino spoiled me.
