Made by ConocoPhillips - who just happens to blend and bottle Motorcraft for Ford in the U.S., too. Other equivalent ConocoPhillips brands:
Phillips TropArtic Synthetic Blend
Conoco Super All Season Synthetic Blend
Kendall GT-1 High Performance Synthetic Blend
All available as Group III/Group II blends in 5W-20, 5w30, and 10w30. (ConocoPhillips has reported to online and telephone inquiries that the base oil content is at least 50% Group III in these synthetic blends.) They're all rated API SM/CF and ILSAC GF-4. If these and Motorcraft aren't identical peas, at least they all came right out of the same pod. (In other words, any additive and base oil assay differences are negligible.) While there've been a number of Motorcraft used oil analysis postings, I'm hoping eventually someone will bother posting a used oil analysis for the 10w30 flavor of any or all the other ConocoPhillips brands.
