Uncle has an old dodge truck that won't idle

And he called me to come over and take a look at it. Says it starts and runs if you give it a little gas but does not want to idle...

Don't see a problem here? I mean, that filter has got at least 3 more miles to go before it's plugged shut, so I don't see what this posting is about and all.

Just run it until i quits I say.

Looks like oil loaded blowby, PCV system, that restricted that filter. Unless unc likes to "Oil bathe" their filters.
