I hope to go in a similar fashion come the time. My father died in '07. I'm pretty much over the loss of him. But it took a while. When my older brother gets going, there are still unresolved issues fueled by a toxic wife. Forgive me, that's harsh. Dearly beloved,but shrewish, wife.
I gather that you are middle aged. GG, Middle age begins when you attend more funerals than weddings.

Again, thank you all for your words of support, your prayers and your encouragement. Mom was shocked by the news, which of course is understandable - but by yesterday, she has found her peace with it all. The viewing will be this Thursday and the funeral this Friday. A lot of people coming from all parts of the country to attend which, in my opinion, is a testimony to the many lives he touched. Peace and blessings to all. Glenn

I dont know about that, but Im 30 and out of the 7 funerals and 1 wedding I attended in the last 5 years, it sure does make me feel middle aged.
