Just this past Thursday, my Uncle Bobby found out he had cancer of the brain. No symptoms, no pain, just went in for a checkup and they ran some tests which revealed a mass of tumors. Just got a phone call from my sister that he passed away this morning. We've decided not to tell my parents yet as this afternoon, my niece is getting married so right now just a few of us know, (we'll break the news tomorrow after Church).

He was a welder by trade but had the ability to fix anything - if it was broken and you couldn't fix it, call Uncle Bobby.

He was right with his Lord and I'm sure he is in heaven today, (probably welding a few angel harps together).

Please keep my family in your prayers, especially my mother as this news is going to break her heart, (we hadn't even told her of the cancer yet because of the wedding today - I'm wondering if maybe that was a mistake).

Sorry about that. It's nice to know that he wasn't laying around in pain for a year waiting to die.If I gotta go I want to go fast.

My condolences to you and your family. I believe you did the right thing with your parents. Don't want them to feel guilty for going to a wedding.

"He was right with his Lord and I'm sure he is in heaven today" ill be looking forward to seeing him in heaven. it is hard to loose the good guys. RIP.

My sincerest condolences to you and your family.

I lost the Uncle that I was closest to, almost four years ago. He went in for a check-up, and they found cancer pretty much throughout his body.

He had about three months to waste away to skin and bone, and was in a great deal of pain for most of that time.

I am grateful for his sake that your Uncle didn't suffer.
