On Saturday, one of the soldiers killed in Afghanistan was the son of friends of our family. He was still in college, in Nat'l. Guard, called up this year. His parents do ministry work at Penn State, with Campus Crusade. He was a fine young man, engaged recently.

My brother-in-law is in Iraq, at Balad AFB, his second tour. They get mortar and rocket fire frequently. But morale is good, they have confidence.
