Ugh... so I transferred the drive to a new enclosure, but now Ubuntu does not see any partitions on this drive. Is there something I need to do?
It does not show up under Windows either, but when I go into "Disk Management", I can see "Healthy (GPT Protective Partition)" but it cannot be accessed.

Did you name it WDNAS or did it come that way? Because NAS (Network Attached Storage) drives are often addressed quite differently and this hints as your previous enclosure not just being a SATA -> USB adapter.
Interesting that they don't show the same size eh? That's probably a clue. What did you get for a new enclosure? I note that your old one supports UASP, does the new one?
Well, it appears that there's some chipset difference between the two that is triggering this unfortunately. If you have the ability (have the space), I'd copy the contents to another drive, then re-partition this one in the new enclosure and copy the stuff back.
I would get an adapter to transfer all of your files to another drive, I have this one and it’s working great. I would not trust the failing enclosure.
You could probably use it to test if the drive stays mounted to verify that it was the enclosure and not the drive.
