[Ubuntu] External drive randomly unmounting itself

Ugh... so I transferred the drive to a new enclosure, but now Ubuntu does not see any partitions on this drive. Is there something I need to do?

It does not show up under Windows either, but when I go into "Disk Management", I can see "Healthy (GPT Protective Partition)" but it cannot be accessed.

Did you name it WDNAS or did it come that way? Because NAS (Network Attached Storage) drives are often addressed quite differently and this hints as your previous enclosure not just being a SATA -> USB adapter.

Picked up another Sabrent enclosure -same problem: computer does not see the drive. SMH!

I guess I have no choice but to copy all the data over to another drive and then repartition it in the new enclosure. What a PITA!
