Ice is awesome, goes on the easiest I have ever seen, wipes off the same.......and the shine!

I also love the stuff,
My car is a smoke color, and ICE leaves it looking brand spanking new, show room new !

I apply the stuff with a orbital buffer, I will do the hood, then the trunk then the roof.
when I am done applying it to the roof, I take a MICROFIBER cloth and buff off the ICE from the hood/trunk/roof.

The key is to let the ICE sit for over 5mins.
It is almost as if it soaks into your finish,
and it buffs off very easy.

I will do two waxes a year, once before winter and once after...., and I use the ICE in between during the summer.....
I really like it, also bug gutts and bird droppings come off very easy, even if they have been sitting in the sun all day...

have a good weekend

get the wax and not the detailer. !

the wax comes with a microfiber cloth to buff it off.
for some reason if tou try to buff off ICE with a cotton cloth, it is harder to come off.

and when you put it on, let it sit for a while,
5 mins is good.

have fun !

I used it a while back on black and dark blue and didn't like the streaky look on either car. I ended up using 5 minute detailer to get it to look good. 5 minute detailer removes the Ice according to Turtle wax tech person.

After reading thru this I like the wet towel idea and will try it again.

I ended up washing the cars down with dish soap and applying Liquid Glass and that looks the best so far. But being the Glutton for punishment that I am I will give it another go.

Nicholas,
I really like the micro fiber towels as they really seem to remove the streaking effects of such products. Almost as if the micro fiber towel soaks up the streak itself.

Demarpaint,
You may still get streaking on darker color paints so use the product sparingly and follow with a micro fiber towel(if available). With lighter colors, the streaking is less visible. I have one black car(1980 FORMULA FIREBIRD). Everything streaks on that factory paint. New darker paints of today that are clear coated may be more forgiving.

demarpaint, I noticed the first time I used ICE, my car showed streaks, the second time I used it, the effect was less pronounced. A third application a week later gave the best results. I can conclude that a build up or surface conditioning is necessary to see a brilliant shine without streaks. Try it a few times to see if that is true for your car also.

Wash it with Mr Clean auto dry

then use the ice

I was pleased with the results I got.

I saw a bit of the infomercial that was on one of the Directv channels this early am before I went to work. Interesting, but I wonder how durable the polish will handle the heat of summer and the rain we get here (Southern Oregon, the "banana belt" of the Pacific Northwest. I miss Blue Coral Autofom, it put a great shine on my '95 Ford Explorer that I use to have.

I might just try that. I have that Mr.Clean system still sitting in a box from a Birthday gift 5 years ago. Maybe I'll try it now.

Thanks!

The car wash I go to has a spot free rinse option, I actually use this to clean my car. After the wash, I put a quick coat of ICE on and less than 1/2 hour later, it's time for other drivers to curse me out as the reflection of the strong florida sun has people scrambling for their shades.

After reading thru these posts again, I am going to give it another shot. Waiting now for the humidity to break, and to get motivated. I will try the ideas suggested and 2 coats of the product with ample drying time between coats.

Seems a lot of you guys like the product and have good results so its worth another try.

Thanks

The key is letting it haze....about 5 minutes after applying, looks awesome afterwards. Only use the microfiber towel for best results.

I used ICE on two BMWs and a Ferrari 360 Spyder. I clayed and polished all the cars first.

The ICE may not be the best, or longest lasting, and it may not have the status of the boutique products like Zaino, Klasse, 4****. Natty's Poorboy, etc.

But is sure is easy and it looks quite good. I'd rate it easier, shinier, and less durable than Meguiar's NXT... but quite close.

Nice choice for cars with lots of trim pieces, or seams that show dried wax normally.

For lots of people this could easily be the best or easiest sealant to use.... and a little goes a loooong looong ways.

Probaly one of the least expensive sealants to use, since I bet I could do more than 20 cars with one $17.00 bottle.

ICE by far gives my car the best shine. I agree it doesnt last long at all. First drop of rain and it loses it. The paint on my car is original and people think i had the car repainted!

I bought some and put it on my Cosmic Blue Matrix...couple of things I noticed...I had some dried water spots after getting back from the car wash that I didn't catch in time...the Ice did not take out these spots at all....Zymol did with no problem...it is tough to see if it hazes at all on a light colored car like I have...did notice a bit of streaking but I think I put too much on.

I was going to take advantage of the money back offer if not satisfied until I looked in my side mirror at a stop light...the side of my car looked like a mirror!

I'm not sure how well it will stand up but I also put some "Ice" on my wife's Red Vue and it looks stunning!

Not bad stuff at all for an awesome shine..does leave your hands feeling pretty oily though

This is what I do, I wash my cars and then apply ICE after applying ICE and allowing it to dry/haze, I remove it with a microfiber towel. After that I use Stoners Bead Max. Cars look like mirrors and it last a few months....
