Tube Sealant on inflatable pool?

Brought out the inflatable pool. It is 20 by 4 feet high. The top ring is inflated with air and is needed to hold the water in. So we filled it up and starting filling the pool with water and the top inflatable ring has a slow leak. Can't find it. So rather then spend 250 again, I was thinking would a tube sealant work? The opening to fill air is one where you insert the air compressor component inside the plastic nipple.

Any thoughts or ideas are appreciated.

I think tube sealer would work fine, unless you are able to find the leak and patch it.

Don't waste your time with sealant, I use a spray bottle with water and small amount of Dawn to find the leaks. Its a common problem with intex pools. If the leak is at the seam you are outta luck.

So just walk around and spray all over the top and hope I can see bubbles?

I would think it would take a lot of cans of sealer and then it may not even make it to the leak if it's high up...the pool doesn't roll like a tire to distribute the stuff.

But, finding the leak and patching it correctly will be the right way to do it.

75 cans of sealer may work.
But then it would collapse from the weight.

You really can't find the leak?
The spray bottle technique is good - so are eyes and ears.
