Good question. I don't remember reading the earlier version! I can ask, but I think it's been completely redone.

From what I've read lately on various Harley forums, it seems alot of people are using the SVG now instead of the MCV, for the new six speed transmission, with great success.

None of the product nor service recommendation have changed. The narrative wording has been expanded on to clear up ambiguities. For instance on page 2 on the subject of Modifications they have expanded it to add a disclaimer for modified engines and drain intervals. There are other small things but products and what hole to use them in, has not changed.

I have the 07/25/06 to compare to but not the 10/3/2004 but I know everything changed on the 07/25/06 due to different products being available.
