I've never seen a Phillips oil in any Wallys in my neck of the woods. Only Motorcraft.

i found a bunch of the synthetic blend 10w30 at my local $ tree, like 40-50 qrts of it, plus about 40-50 qrts of the regular 10w-40. Dont know if I should snag up all the synthetic stuff or just keep using the Chevron stuff for $.49 cents/qrt.

Certainly nothing wrong with the Chevron oil but I recently did the same and snagged all 77 quarts of Trop Arctic 10W30 from my local $T store. A semi synthetic is a steal for a buck IMO. I called all the local $T and none have any more and don't think they are getting it (in my neck of the woods anyway).

I'm on the other coast, if I was closer I would be running over to your $T right now

I'm trying to resist the urge to go buy it all up myself. Must... fight... itch

I use 12 quarts of oil a year, so 77 quarts would last me 6 years or so.

At mine, it's kind of separate from the rest of the PCMOs. One aisle has all the big name oils on one side and filters on the other. The next aisle over has gear lube, grease, ATF, etc. along with the Rotella products, Delvac 1300, & the TropArtic. For whatever that's worth.

ok who the heck went to my local $ Tree and bought up all 40 qrts of the Semi Synthetic stuff? I went back today and all of it was gone except for 2 qrts!

Actually it was 48 quarts - there were 8 more quarts hidden among all the 10W-40.

(I wonder how I missed those last two quarts. Oh, well - enoy!)
