Triax CVT fluid equivalent to OEM?

Thats the only one I use with my Subaru Crosstreck it works great and much much cheaper than Subaru Oem. I also Used it in my 2018 Nissan Maxima. I had 227,000 miles on the Original transmission in that car when I sold it.I waited and waited for the transmisson to die and it never did. I ragged that car out also , cause I hated it with a passion. I don't like Nissan's but my dad sold it to me for 4000 bucks in 2020 cause he hated it.It has a Jatco Cvt . It will work great in it just change the fluid every 35k and use a bottle of Lubegard Cvt recharge .Its great fluid
If it is that great why add the Lubegard?

You’ll be Fine if you Choose to use Triax My Coworker is now using Triax CVT in his 2018 Nissan Rogue he plans on never touching again also .but for the 10k it’s been in said the vehicle is running well .
No love for Idemitsu here?
Which Idemitsu is OK to use for Mitsubishi Diaqueen J4? I haven't seen one. Idemitsu would've been top of the list if they specifically stated so on the label.
Another option is Valvoline CVT Fluid which is recommended for J4 applications. I'd trust them a whole lot sooner than the brand in this thread.

What are the frictional characteristics and so forth that would be important in a CVT?
I get the distinct impression that this thread was less about finding fact than it was about promoting a brand.
It's unfortunate that you think that. When I started this thread I genuinely wanted to know if that fluid was a suitable replacement for the OEM fluid. I follow this thread every day for the time being. You asked a good question a couple of days ago, and I'm waiting for someone to respond with the answer.
Any fluid that says it is a suitable replacement is going to be as suitable as any other suitable fluid. Asian manufacturers do not license their fluids so everything except the OEM is going to be more or less in the same boat as any other. You wanted to know which Idemitsu fluid was suitable and I posted which one they say is correct.
When it comes down to suitability the reputation of the blender is crucial. The issue with Triax is not whether it states it is suitable or not, the problem with that blender is their reputation and labeling practices. They have labeled other products in the past with "suitable" uses where some of the listings are mutually exclusive to others. Also they have obfuscated their suitability listings to make it appear as though they have actual approvals when they do not. These and other practices lend to the overall credibility of the organization.

In my experience, Amazon and ebay reviews are the worst and least reliable of any reviews.

I would say that this definition of obfuscate applies here: to make something less clear and harder to understand, especially intentionally.
Owing to their evasive labeling and their questionable claims, what we're saying is: they can't be trusted as a suitable replacement, so why even consider this CVT fluid when there are better options from vetted companies such as HPL, Amsoil, Redline, Idemitsu, Valvoline, and Mobil.

I use the Amsoil CVT in my wives Honda Jazz / Fit CVT transmission. I changed the OEM fluid to Amsoil CVT at about 20,000km and have changed it every 50,000km. The Honda has about 240k km on the clock mostly daily grind of bumper to bumper city traffic driving. No issues with the transmission doing anything funky or out of the ordinary with the Amsoil CVT fluid. We'll keep driving the Honda until someone crashes into it as there is no trade-in value due to the so call high kilometers.
