Who makes tractor supplys traveller gear oil? On the back label it just says distributed by tractor supply. On the bottom of the jug is says SSI. I did a quick search and found a company out of Florida named SSI lubricants who distributes Amalie lubricants also based in Florida. So is traveller gear oil manufactured my Amalie, bottled by SSI, and sold as traveller?

I use some Traveller lubes. No complaints. You could probably get your answer on the BITOG website. They say it's been tested and proven to be good oil.

I've seen that they used to source it from warren but there isn't a W on the bottom of the bottle. I bought a 2 gallon jug to use in my suburbans diffs.

Since it says SSI on the bottle, that would be Smitty’s Supply Inc. I like their products. I use there motorcycle oil I’m my two bikes. The gear oil should be fine.

Smitty’s Supply is a reputable brand bottled for TSC, they make good stuff. I’ve used the Traveler 80W90 gear oil in rototiller and mower PTO gear boxes, UTV differentials, etc. If you need GL-5 rated gear oil it fits the requirements.

Hmm now I'm wondering if it's the Smitty super s just rebranded or if it's just a cheaper blend. Smitty lists specs for their lubes but I'm not sure if it's actually the super s or not.
