Same here.

I had a 1999 S-10 4.3L V6 with possible injector leakage.

He sent me in the right direction for replacements.

+1 I agree with this post completely. Trav was one of the best posters here. As some have said here, he helped a lot of people out. He is a master mechanic and had a lot to offer this website.

But some people do just try to shout down a person they disagree with.

LOL, off board, there's a little cadre of vermin huddled around a warm screen with their hands in each other's jocks whispering to each other that they've chased Trav off BITOG.

I don't know...I think sometimes he enjoyed taking some of them on...he never rattled easy...

I'm thinking he might just be busy....
 
Maybe he finally got tired of it all, as I did back at the end of last year/beginning of this year. This is the first time I've logged in since May. This site was becoming a net-negative in my life, and it's been nice to not have to deal with the attacks and infighting that has become the norm on here.

Why is there a lot of posts sounding as if he were gone for sure?
He seems like a pretty thick skinned guy to me, so I doubt some trolls would chase him out.

It may come as a shock to some, but there is life outside of BITOG

Probably the best thing to do is continue to post no matter who attacks you and regardless what might happen at some goofy hate site where the cowards huddle together and post a lot of nonsense about members here.

Exactly. The funny thing is they too are now moderating posts as well according to the site owner.

Guys should let the moderators take care of it if somebody gets out of line. Just follow the rules here and post what you want to post. If somebody is out of line and attacks you the moderators will deal with that guy.

In my opinion, only a coward posts nonsense about other people at a hate site.
