Transmission auxiliary filter

Finally found it.

* Base housing and element measures 7 1/2in. high, diameter measures 3 5/8in.
* 14 threads per inch
* Recommend change time is 50 hours on new systems or break in and every 250 hours there after.

It should be a typo. The replacement element for this filter/head combo is the 4021 ..which does work in WIX

Hmmn...maybe a typo by northern tool?
 
One last question, what would be a good bypass valve setting for the set up? Or is the setting not as important as the fact there is a bypass?
 
Anything 15-25 should work. I doubt it will ever be used unless there's some catastrophic failure that sends tons of filterable material down the line.

The line is so skinny ..moving so much fluid ...it would be pretty hard to restrict flow enough to produce the PSID required to open it. The needle it has to thread though (long hose) will trump the filter by a decent margin.

Now open the tap on to the ground, and without any back pressure, it might .. I don't even think that would do it.
