After oly two changes I have removed 83% of the fluid. This is the case on most GM transmissions. T-tec's deceptive numbers come from a Honda.

I hate to break it to you guys, but the T-tec does not remove 100% of the old fluid either. Think about it. As the machine is returning new fluid to the tranny, it mixes in the pan with the old fluid. The T-tec would have to change the same amount of fluid as multiple flushes in order to actually get close to 100% of the fluid out.

Good work

My 4L60E transmission has a 12 capacity and needs 5 quarts for a pan drain. The pan has a drain plug, so I drain and refill the AT fluid everytime I change the engine oil. I figure i have 40+% fresh and clean oil every 5000 miles. It,s cheap insurance.

You can do that every 15,000 miles and accomplish the same thing. You are keeping some oil baron in the chips changing atf that often. If you are using DexVI you are really wasting $$.

Here is your chart for drain fills

Number of Times Changed New Fluid
1 42%
2 66%
3 80%
4 88% Do this every 50k and you are good to go. With DexVI every 75k
5 93%
6 96%
7 98%
8 99%
9 99%
10 100%
