TPMS rims on non-TPMS car?

I am about to buy some used rims and tires for my Saab 05 9-3. The tires are mounted and have pressure sensors. I can use these on my 05 without TPMS, right?

Right, if it has a TPMS sensor, just replace it with a regular valve stem.

If it's indirect, then you have to do nothing.

I would just leave the sensors on the rim unless you happen to be changing the tires for any reason and you want to put on a new tire valve. The sensors are integral with the tire valves.

Nothing bad will happen by using TPMS rims on non-TMPS cars.

Maybe when you pull up beside someone their TPMS light will go off?
