I decided to pinch pennies to the possible future detriment of myself. This eleventh hour philosophy has me agreeing to buy four Arroyo Grand Sport tires in 245/45/20 for my bottom dollar Dodge Charger R/T. The tires are rated at 103W XL load and cost $83 each.
I agree to let WalMart tire center do the mount a balance. I am buying four new ching shen fung dung brand TPMS sensors from WalMart as well. Mount, balance, and new TPMS is $28 each.
I am beyond excited for a good cheap deal but also nervous and have anxiety thinking about the "tire service specialist" I am entrusting to properly raise the vehicle on a lift and properly place the lift arms under the car to avoid bending or breaking sensitive areas of the body/frame, much less the car totally falling off of the lift.
I agreed to let the "tire service specialist" remove the lugnuts, dismount and discard the old tires in favor of him (or her) mount and balance the new prized Arroyo's I paid $83 each for. I agreed to let the "tire service specialist" then fasten all 20 lug nuts to the proper ugga dugga torque and lower the vehicle safely to the floor without damage.
I agree to let the "tire service specialist" sync the new TPMS sensors that hopefully work on the first shot to the vehicle.
Wish me the best, I may need a sedative or two before I get the Charger home.
