2013 Lexus GS350 F Sport - TPMS is whack. TPMS warning light comes on at freeway speeds; turns off after returning to city streets.
Instrument panel display for tire pressure values are dash lines; no numerical psi numbers.
I did a reset...
The tires may be 2 psi over. I will set tire pressures tomorrow morning when they are cold. I have a good gauge.

Can you shed light on this?
I appreciate your help.

One of your sensors is going is likely. Seven years is about right. If you have a good scan tool it will read the individual tire pressures in PSI even if the dashboard display does not. Toyota and Lexus use chassis codes for TPMS like C20xx. See if you can capture the codes instead of just clear them. The Toyota sensors in the wheels are not replaceable batteries so when the battery goes the sensor is toast. As they start to go it will be intermittent. When the battery dies the TPMS symbol will flash for about 20 seconds when you first start the engine then stay on, regardless of actual tire pressure.

As for cost my local independent tire dealer charges $79 total to replace and reprogram a tire sensor. They know how to do it so you don’t have to rebalance the tire. Getting one done myself on the Venza that has 10/32” all around on a good set of Michelin LTX M/S tires. The OE sensor on mine lasted more than 11 years.
