Could not be happier with the Milwaukee M12 tire inflator. I had three flat tires and numerous other tire issues over the past 90 days. I have numerous roadside tire inflators, used all of them recently.

Nothing comes close to this Milwaukee. The 12v cigarette lighter inflators all had wrong pressure readings, the inflator got hot the longer in use, and they simply were crude compared to this Milwaukee.

This morning I filled the tires on a ML350. This MB has a one pound off alert--- painful. Full confidence the Milwaukee set the pressure to match the TPMS and the error message will be long gone.

Would love to keep one of these Milwaukee's in all my vehicles. Outstanding tool for roadside assistance. Heck, might be more accurate than most tire inflation gauges.

Good to know. I've looked at getting a Milwaukee inflator myself.

Curious, have you used it on any larger volume tires, such as those on your Super Duty?

No, have not used it in the super duty or a loaded trailer. My experience is a super duty or loaded trailer needs a monster compressor, or jack up the frame near the tire to relieve some of the weight on the tire, for a little compressor to get the job done on heavy stuff.

@GON I use mine all the time; I take it when going to help friends and family as well.
I highly suggest getting the Jaco Lightning (?) push on extension. Seriously.

A must have for these inflators, makes them clip on with the flow-thru valve stem caps on commercial vehicles and super fast to clip and unclip from the valve stem.
My M18 inflator comparing PSI accuracy with other gauges.

Get the m18 inflator. I've aired up tractor tires with mine. Works great.
That is helpful to know. I've been toying with getting the M18 inflator, and one of the tasks I was hoping to use it for, is on the 22.5" tires on my motorhome. They rarely need more than 5-6 psi, but if the M18 isn't up to that task, I would get one of the Viair compressors instead.

That wouldn't even be a work out for it. When i say tractor tires, I mean farm tractor tires, not lawn mower tires. I use it all the time, don't even bother dragging out an air hose anymore. I put the lock n lube air chuck on mine.

I have 2 M12 Milwaukee inflators. They are great!!! My wife carries 1 in her car for emergency and the other is in my garage for all other uses. I don't really need the M18 larger unit because I have a regular 120-volt compressor in my garage. However, I would absolutely recommend the larger M18 inflators if you don't have a large one on hand.

Have one but I killed it due to LT tires. So then I upgraded to an M18 inflator and it's fantastic.

I use mine on LT tires all the time. No issues! But an upgrade is probably worth it. If your old M12 is only a few years old, you can certainly send it out to Milwaukee for repair or replacement. Just check online at Milwaukee Tool and they will send you a return ticket free of charge. Or call 800-sawdust for return authorization.

The YT video on pressure gauges from PF, he was using an M18 to keep the tank filled with the reference gauges.

My concern on the car and keeping them is the battery dying when I need it. I feel confident in my Viair 88P for beach use, battery clamps not plug in to power outlet, 33% duty cycle and 120 psi.

For all my cars I have the Harbor Freight plug in one. Frequently on sale for like $20. IMO it actually doesn't suck, maybe a bit slow but filled my 60 psi trailer tires when needed. I have used it to help others many times, sometimes for myself. The bag also has room for a small plug kit and tools. I wouldn't trust the gauge anyway but all my cars have a pressure gauge I do trust.

An M18 is on my list for future but more so for quieter fill ups on an early morning. I have 3 other 120V compressors in different sizes in the garage so need the m18 like a hole in the head but still on my list.

Use these 2 often, the VIAIR 450P does heavy duty trucks, tractor etc but the small Ryobi is surprisingly efficient, albeit slow
