Scotty would be sad.
Weirdly I saw 5 late model 4runners on the side of the road broken down on a 300 mile span. No flat tires either. And one late model Land Cruiser.

Later i saw a late model Corolla too.
Wonder if the Toyota fuel pumps are acting up. I usually never see a toy down.

Now my prejudice got me as I saw many very old Land and Range Rovers blowing past me on I95 area.

I would be scared to drive them but they were not on the side of the road.

The irony of the situation is that what you noticed was so remarkable that you needed to create a thread to discuss it.

Oh, and Scotty doesn't care. He's too busy counting his money and leading his best life. Are you?

How do you know they were broken down?

I was thinking based on the title you are talking about Toyota’s doing 20mph below speed limit in the left lane. They have some serious competition from Subaru in this discipline. I actually think Subaru is overtaking (I am not sure overtaking fits same sentence with Toyota and Subaru).
Come to think of it you are right.
Slow city cruise...

Fewer people care...since they started seeing "Scotty" for what he is.

As much as I hate generalizing, this almost never fails. If I'm stopped behind a Toyota at an intersection / traffic light, it is almost guaranteed that I will be the last car to leave that intersection.
Why is that..?
I know a Ford F250 -350 pu. is huge compared to a 4Runner but the 4Runner owners drive them like they are a semi. I guess they stepped up from a car???

Gonna start a new thread:

"Was at Wal-Mart and I bumped into Scotty."

That ought to get some responses....
