I have a 2012 Toyota Sienna approaching 130000 trouble free miles. Would you guys recommend a proactive Water pump replacement? This engine uses a timing chain. I have not noticed any coolant drips on the ground. The coolant was changed around 120000 miles. Just trying to save catastrophic engine problems.

I wouldn't, That pump could go another 130000 without issue.
You do not have to replace the water pump preemptively.
Water pumps give plenty of warning before you need to replace. You can wait until it starts weeping to replace it. Order the pump when you see the drips.

Unless it's leaking, making noise or has play in the output shaft, I would not touch it unless you are in there doing something else and it's convenient to do at the same time.

Replaced my 2011 Sienna water pump at around 131,000 miles. It wasn't leaking but it was making a noticeable noise. It wasn't easy to replace but it's now fixed. I usually go with OEM parts - especially something critical like water pumps - but rockauto had the exact same ASIN wp that a dealer was selling for about $130-140 for $90. I went with rockauto Asin.

No these things will last forever and ever and will give you plenty of warning if they are going to go you won’t have to worry
