Why can't companies make a descent balljoint ??!! Geez, it's not rocket science.

Yep . I do think that part of the story here is just how long they have been neglecting that .
I don't have the exact number in front of me , but if we just look at the recent recalls here and in the JDM it adds up to about 30 - 30+ years worth of producing/designing bad balljoints on significant numbers of vehicles each year .
Take the money they saved here in production plus the money they saved on many other things like headgaskets and engines over that same thirty years and it really adds up - esp if you compound etc .

Hey Drew ,
One thing I've noticed with you and others is that when you get frustrated you start to bring in cuss words , politics , etc , and try to bait people with personal attacks in order to shut a thread down - I would imagine .

I'm going to ask you to stop all that , for the simple reason I don't want your posts to look altered in any way and if you do that , a Moderater is going have to edit your posts . See , we have good Moderators here at BITOG so those tactics won't work here .

I'm OK with the personal stuff and I place great value on freedom of expression , but rules are rules , so if you need to go that way , you and any like you do have my personal permission on record here and now , to PM me anything you want with my personal guarantee of no reprisal or complaint .

Where did I cuss? I said H e l l. Comparing you to Bill Orielly constitutes politics? Where was the personal attack? Calling you out as a hypocrite, which you are, is not a personal attack.

One of "your" fellow Toyota basher/lairs on another thread got so personal, the thread was locked!!!

How about you stop spinning about how Toyota is going down the tubes, and get a little fair and balanced with posts about other automakers and their recalls. Focusing with such fervor on Toyota only shows your true agenda.

Then you say my posts don't even consider a response from you. Out of yarn now?

Keep digging...

Their are no spin Dr. here what purpose would it serve. Most people on this site that are pro Toyota people on this site have owned them for years with no problems. Since 1971 to present none of my familys Toyota's have ever had a recall!

That is doubly pertinent to this thread. 1 this thread needs locked, two the castle nut on the lower #@$%! needs this applied any time that it is loosened.
