Me too...the dealers have told me to use any DexIII atf. Some use T-IV. Synthetic is way overkill. I always use the Walmart closeout DexIII atf.

When I switched from regular ATF to synthetic ATF in a Lexus ES300, the steering felt much lighter. The same effect happened in a Scion TC.

So I don't consider synthetic PSF to be overkill for that reason alone.
